I am a single mom to the most amazing (I am biased of course) two year old girl named Savanna.  Life with her is anything but ordinary.  To keep it even more interesting, I decided we needed a puppy!  Never a dull moment at our house.

I was married and waited until I was older (36, again and again and again…HA HA) to have a child.  The marriage did not work out, hence the single mom blog.  Although being a single mom is challenging, exhausting, frustrating and demanding; the benefits  overwhelmingly outweigh the challenges!

Besides being a single mom, I have the most supportive parents, the best friends a girl could ask for, a great job, I own my own home and have my masters degree.  I truly am blessed and so thankful for the life I have.

A dear friend persuaded me to start this blog, to document the journey of being a single mom.  This journey includes more than just stories about my daughter, it includes my parents, my friends and of course coffee and wine.  This crazy ride includes the trials and tribulations of single mom dating…EEK!!! The highs and lows of life in general.  I may not always be politically correct; I may be raunchy or offensive to some, but this is me….I am real and I can’t make this SH*T UP!

I envision a lot of crazy stories that other single moms will relate to and if not, I hope at least be able to laugh with.
