Easter Bunny – Scarred For Life

This is my very first post.  So many crazy funny things happen in our life…on a daily basis.  My daughter is 2 years old and we have a puppy named Montana.  Just a little background on Montana…he is wild and eats anything he can get his mouth on.

Easter was Sunday and I hosted a brunch at my house with Savanna, my parents and good friends.  One of our friends thought it would be cute to dress up as the Easter Bunny and hide eggs for Savanna.  His outfit, basket and eggs were all staged in the front living room with the doors shut, so that wandering eyes could not see.

While the Easter Bunny arriving at our house is a nice thought in theory, Savanna being 2 years old, is afraid of this giant, white fluffy thing walking in our backyard, so that was interesting in itself.  When the Easter Bunny had finished hiding the eggs and taking pictures, he left through the side gate.  A couple hours later, unbeknownst to all of us adults, the front living room door was left open where Savanna saw the crumpled bunny suit on the ground and yelled “Mommy, Montana ate the bunny!”

Of course there was much laughter at the moment, then later I was just hoping this did not scar my little girl!
